Mission
We believe we are called to reach out to a suffering world and walk with others helping where and when we are able. To that end, we are always involved in a process of listening and responding to God’s call. We welcome your prayers for us as we go about this work.
Breakfast Club
We are partnering with Sherwood Park Community Church and providing breakfast for all who wish it in a nearby K-5 School. The relationships that are begin forged are become a testament to the care we have for one another in our neighbourhood.
Feeding the Hungry
We are supporting the Feed My Lambs initiative in downtown Winnipeg. Several times a month our youth gather at 7am on Sunday mornings (yes even when its -35) and help those less fortunate than ourselves. At the present time we are exploring the possibility of helping at some other time as well.
Prisons
Several members of our congregation are actively engaged in ministry to people Stony Mountain Prison. They bring kindness and hope and receive likewise.
Refugees
Our congregation is acutely aware of our fortunate we Canadians are and how difficult it is for people in most of the world to survive. Many of these people wish to come to Canada in order to build a better life for themselves and their families. We are committed to helping these people and are presently in the process of assisting a family trying to be reunited in Winnipeg.
